Maxim Healthcare Services is in search of a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) . Our nurses are expected to assume responsibility and accountability for the application of the nursing process and the delivery of patient care. The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Registered Nurse (RN) demonstrates the ability to make clinical judgments in an effective and efficient manner under the direction of the Director of Clinical Services.

Shifts: Full Time, Part Time and or Per Diem
Location: Cases all over the San Diego Area
We have different cases that fit your needs. Our overall census includes:
Adults, Geriatric and Pediatric
Acuity Level: G-Tubes, Trachs, and/or Vents (ranges)
Our nursing responsibilities include:
Utilizes the nursing process to assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care.
Performs focused interview to identify specific patient needs.
Assess signs and symptoms indicating physiologic and psychosocial changes in the patient’s condition.
Collects, analyzes, and interprets data and information from health care members and documents actual and/or potential nursing diagnoses.
Other Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) duties as assigned
Our Requirements:
Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) License for the state in which the nurse practices.
Current Health Certificate
Current PPD or Chest X-Ray
Current BLS card.
One year prior Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) experience preferred.
